I am Tom LoGrasso. I was born in ’54 and freedom & liberty were everywhere. If there was not enough, people fought for more of these great ideas. People were patriotic in whatever way they wished. They protested war or supported it. They fought for civil rights…and laws were passed to enhance freedom and liberty…not take it away. In ’81 after listening to President Reagan proclaim that, “the American people make this country”, not the federal government, I realized that I was responsible for what I had and how successful my family and I would be. I’d have to make it myself…so I started my own business. I’ve now been owner/mgr. of my own business since 1981!
Freedom & liberty: It’s our country, not the government’s.
The constitution gave it to us and we pass it along to our kids. Freedom & liberty allowed me to be who I am today. What would have happened if I didn’t have all of the freedom and liberty that I did? Great question.
My purpose for this blog is to get people to think about Freedom and Liberty
…and encourage them to begin being pro-active in making changes to bring our country back to its fundamentals: the Constitution..
I want people to think about how their Freedoms and Liberties are being stolen from them by the current Congress and Administration. Actually I’m hoping that by thinking about these concepts people will come to a realization that freedom & liberty are being taken from us by our government right now and rather quickly.
If you agree with me, pass these ideas along to a friend or relative that doesn’t. Hopefully they will start defending their own freedom & liberty. My hope is that you will be inspired to talk about freedom & liberty to your family, friends, co-workers, business associates and even people you just met. Lets do something for our freedom & liberty. We can do something about it.
What is Freedom? What is Liberty? Is freedom & liberty important to the individual, to your family, to your company, to your town, country, state, church and all of the groups that you freely assemble with? Is freedom & liberty important for survival? Is freedom & liberty important to the world? These are some of the questions that need to be answered about these great ideas in this time of ever expanding government. I will attempt to address these issues about freedom& liberty in a practical common sense way. Many of us know the answer to these questions but thinking about them can help us to find new ways to communicate these answers to those that don’t. What does freedom & liberty mean to country?
