The Purpose of This Blog

This blog is dedicated to the individual American and how current political events will and can effect our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It is a work in progress and hopefully may inspire others to help our country regain  limited government and our individual rights. It is based on our Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. These founding documents contain all of the data we need to secure these rights for ourselves, our families, our churches and our communities. It is the individual American’s charity, ingenuity, creativity, morality and exceptionalism that makes our country the envy of the rest of the world.

I salute the Founders for it was their genius and sacrifice that allows me to write on these principles of government today.

  1. and our individual rights.– I am 74 years old and I don’t remember losing any individual rights except for the ones that might have been mitigated by The Homeland Security thing—what individual rights are we talking about here?

    • I am talking about our liberty which is the right to choose without coercion or force. The healthcare law forces us to buy a policy that the government(health & human services decides we must have) whether we want it or not. This law penalizes us with a fine and possible jail if we do not comply. We are free men & women not slaves to the state. I’d say that qualifies under restricting our free will. We the people should be restricting & restraining the government through our Constituion not the other way around.
