The Constitution vs. Control Over We The People

Controlling and restraining the people has been an age old goal of all governments since the beginning of man’s history. Whether it is a king, queen, emperor, czar, warlord or dictator the goal most of the time is the same; control, control, control. The Founders of course came from europe where there were kings, queens, lords and nobles interested in of all things how to control the people. In the 20th century we developed such things as facsism, communism and socialism. All of these forms of government have the same goal. Controlling the people. Control and restrain the governed. What about liberty and freedom?

The Founders wrote our founding documents to finally give all of us an opportunity to rise above this restraint and oppression. The only restraints would be the laws of the land which were based on of all things the ten commandments and of course the ones which we put on ourselves. The people now had choices over where they lived, what they did(Shall I say small businesses?) and who ruled them. We’ve now come full circle. Many of our politicians, proclaiming that the Constituion gives them the authority, plan to control all facets of our lives through the healthcare law, the banking law and redistributing property(money). We now vote in our kings, queens, lords and nobles.

Following the Constitution gives control to us, the people. We control and restrain the government not the other way around. We got off to a good start on November 2nd. Let’s keep the ball rolling, up the ante and leave our children and grandchildren with the freedom & liberty the Founders entrusted us with.

We can do it!

The November Elections & Our Liberty

This November we have a chance to preserve the liberty that was given to us by the Founders of our country. And what a price they paid for that liberty. Much blood was shed for this chance, tenuous at best, for all of us to to be born into the light of freedom and liberty. Where every man has a chance to prosper based on his abilities, morality and perserverance. Of course some may have it easier than others. But isn’t it the accomplishment of overcoming obstacles, big and small, that makes life worth living?

What has kept this freedom and liberty alive and well? Our Constitution which was crafted to protect the individual from an all powerful, over reaching government. In essence though, our constitution is just a piece of paper with writing on it. It is us, the American people, who keep the ideas in it alive and fresh for each following generation.

Because of  this we have the opportunity to accomplish something that has never been done before. We can take our government back from the anti-constitutionalists that hijacked it, without resorting to violence of any kind. And believe me these guys fit the definition of anti-constitutional perfectly since, not only are they governing against the will of the people but they are also over-riding our established law; the Constitutuion. If they want to change the Constitution they must follow Article V not just pass laws that change the balance of power between the three branches of government.

In these last three weeks before the election I am finding as many candidates that will apply the Constitution as possible and supporting them financially. I suggest that you do the same no matter what the amount is. In so doing we can bypass all of the powers that be.

So, let’s roll up our sleeves, get  these ideas out to our friends, relatives, and anyone we can get to listen. This is the moment in history which will decide the fate of our children and grandchildren. We must let everyone know what is at stake in this election; our Freedom & Liberty.
